Why hold an auction?
Those who are downsizing, moving, have experienced a death or illness and need to liquidate an estate, businesses closing, companies with too much inventory.
The auction will sell a large quantity of items in a short amount of time. The items are taken away the day of the sale so there is very little left to do afterwards. The auction takes away the time consumption aspect and relieves the overwhelming feeling factor commonly associated with liquidation.
On the day and time of your choosing. The auctioneer and the sellers discuss the current situation and work out the best time to meet their needs.
Special or highly valuable items may be previewed and offered for sale in advance on the auctioneers website. The sale is held at the seller’s property. If there are large amounts of merchandise, like a business liquidation, a host site may be used.
It makes liquidation fast, doesn’t involve excessive time and effort on the seller’s part, offers fair market value for the items being sold and a check is usually cut for the sale proceeds within 48 hours.
